Lot 765: An Assortment of Swarovski Faceted Lead Crystal Figurines and Decorative Objects with Original Presentation Boxes
A collection of clear and coloured art glass items. The group includes a decorative spun glass stand featuring a large woven glass vessel and a smaller suspended woven basket with a handle. The top of the stand is adorned with a miniature polychrome lampwork glass bird in shades of gold and red. Also included is a pair of spun glass ornaments, each designed as a stylised tree with a twisted clear glass stem supporting an intricate woven glass canopy. Completing the collection is a contemporary art glass bottle stopper featuring a cobalt blue glass spherical finial with internal gold foil inclusions. The glass is mounted on a chrome-finished metal stopper with rubber gaskets and is presented in a blue box with a white satin lining. The spun glass items are created using lampwork and woven glass filament techniques. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible on any of the pieces. These items are in the style of 20th-century Murano glass giftware.
