Lot 886: A Mid-Century French Style Composition Rooster Table Lamp
An Edwardian style open armchair constructed from mahogany toned hardwood. The frame features a rectangular back with a slightly arched top rail above square section uprights. The armrests are supported by curved and moulded uprights, leading to a seat raised on square section legs. The chair has been later reupholstered in a contemporary cream ground fabric decorated with a stylized botanical branch and leaf pattern in shades of dark teal and taupe. The upholstery on the back panel, seat, and armrest pads is secured with decorative brass headed upholstery studs. No maker marks or manufacturer stamps are visible. The item bears an auction lot tag marked Lot 889 and circular pink inventory stickers numbered 32.
