Lot 980: Pair of G Plan Fresco Mid-Century Teak Bedside Cabinets
A contemporary knotty pine storage cabinet of rectangular, one-piece construction. The unit is designed with two tiers, each enclosed by a drop-front door featuring a central recessed panel. Each door is fitted with a single turned wooden pull knob and is mounted on metal hinges at the base. The interior of the compartments is fitted with a central vertical wooden divider, suggesting use for record storage or as a shoe cabinet. The exterior is finished in a clear varnish that emphasises the natural knots and grain of the timber. The design is in the style of late 20th-century Scandinavian pine furniture. A small white adhesive label and a circular pink sticker are attached to the left side.
