Lot 120: Antique Silver Graduated Curb-Link Albert Pocket Watch Chain
This antique silver Albert pocket watch chain features a classic graduated curb-link design. The piece is fitted with a central T-bar intended for securing through a waistcoat buttonhole and a central jump ring for the attachment of a decorative fob. One terminal of the chain consists of a large jump ring; the original swivel dog-clip clasp is currently absent. Hallmarks are present on the T-bar and on nearly every individual link of the chain, including the lion passant symbol which confirms the piece is sterling silver. The T-bar also features a maker’s mark within a rectangular punch, though the characters are heavily worn and illegible.
