Lot 14: A Sterling Silver Albert Chain with Seven Charms
A heavy-gauge sterling silver Albert chain featuring an assortment of charms and an ornate terminal fob. The bracelet is constructed of substantial links, many of which are individually hallmarked with a lion passant. It is secured by a swivel dog-clip clasp at one end and features a large, ornate shield-shaped fob at the other, with scrolling foliate borders and a vacant central cartouche. The seven charms include an articulated baby pram, a dachshund dog, a two-storey cottage, a horseshoe, a teapot, and a silver coin. The coin is a Queen Victoria Veiled Head silver coin dating from the late 19th century, circa 1893-1901. The clasp and links are hallmarked with a lion passant for sterling silver, and the clasp bears a maker mark for S.B.
