Lot 175: An Assortment of Vintage Costume and Militaria Interest Jewellery
A collection of vintage and costume jewellery. The lot includes several strands of faux pearls of various lengths and strand counts, featuring one necklace with a large oval mother-of-pearl shell pendant in a black presentation box. The assortment contains a variety of yellow-tone and silver-tone pieces, including a large gold-tone crucifix pendant with wood inlay, a blue crystal pave-set sphere pendant on a fine-link chain, a silver-tone heart pendant inscribed Nanny, and a silver-tone open heart pendant. Militaria interest is represented by a pair of U.S. Navy pins featuring anchors and the characters USN, and a gold-tone badge depicting a crown over an anchor flanked by two dolphins, representative of the Royal Navy Submarine Service. Decorative accessories include an enameled bird brooch with green and blue accents and clear stones, a small flower-in-pot brooch, a woman’s profile cameo pendant, a gold-tone book-shaped locket, and a rigid gold-tone bangle. No maker’s marks or metal purity hallmarks are clearly visible.
