Lot 80: A Set of German Relief-Decorated Pewter Shot Cups by Frieling-Zinn
A set of German cast pewter shot cups by Frieling-Zinn, each featuring a continuous relief-decorated band depicting a traditional woodland hunting scene. The high-relief decoration shows hunters in period dress with dogs in a forest setting. The cups are cast in fine tin, as indicated by the FEINZINN mark, and feature turned, polished interiors. The base of each vessel is stamped with a circular maker’s mark containing a stylised tree symbol flanked by the initials N and K.
