A mid-20th-century woodworking vice manufactured by Record in Sheffield, England. The model is identified as No 50 and is designed for under-bench mounting. The tool consists of a cast iron body and front jaw plate, integrated with two cylindrical steel guide rods and a central acme-threaded screw. It is operated by a steel T-handle with ball-end terminals. The cast iron body features embossed lettering stating RECORD, NO 50, and MADE IN ENGLAND. This vice is designed to be fitted with user-supplied wooden jaw liners, which are currently absent.
