Buyer's Premium:

This lot comprises two vintage two-gallon petrol cans of British origin, typical of the early to mid-20th century. The first can is branded for Power Petrol, featuring a green painted finish with a yellow diamond-shaped logo on the front face containing the text POWER PETROL. It is equipped with a fixed top handle and a knurled brass filler cap. The second can is a BP Motor Spirit container, also finished in green paint but featuring embossed lettering on the front face. The embossed text reads B.P. MOTOR SPIRIT and is highlighted in red paint. This can is fitted with a fixed top handle and a three-pronged silver-toned metal filler cap. Both items are of metal construction.
