Lot 201: A Pair of Mountfield Emblem Petrol Rotary Lawnmowers
A pair of petrol-powered rotary lawnmowers manufactured by Mountfield. Both machines feature red-painted decks and are fitted with Tecumseh BVS 143 four-stroke engines. Labels on the engine blocks indicate manufacture in Italy by Tecnamotor. The engine shrouds bear stickers with the names Ransomes and Mountfield. One deck is explicitly marked with the model name emblem in raised lettering. The machines are constructed with tubular metal handles and black plastic engine housings. One unit is equipped with a rear-mounted fabric and plastic grass collection bag. Both machines are designed as push-operated rotary mowers with four wheels.
