Lot 204: A Collection of Assorted Garden Planters and Stoneware Pots
A collection of assorted outdoor planters of varying materials and designs. The lot includes a large circular cast stone or concrete planter decorated with two horizontal black-painted bands, containing a mature Silver Ragwort plant. A large flared terracotta planter features hand-incised foliate designs highlighted with green pigment and is planted with wild strawberries and small white-flowering perennials. The collection also includes a small two-tone glazed stoneware pot featuring a cobalt blue upper section over a mottled sand-coloured base, and a small terracotta pot with a textured, ribbed exterior surface. No maker’s marks or stamps were observed on the bodies or rims of the pots.
