Lot 259: Vintage Tecalemit Industrial Tubular Steel Sack Truck
A mid-20th-century industrial sack truck manufactured by the British engineering firm Tecalemit. The frame is of welded tubular steel construction with a fixed rectangular load plate and two solid composition or rubber wheels mounted on a steel axle. The upper handles retain portions of their original brown paper protective wrapping. A vintage adhesive label is present on the paper wrapping of one handle, featuring the blue and red circular logo with horizontal bars for the manufacturer Tecalemit. The frame also bears two white adhesive auction inventory stickers numbered 5677 and 659. This item is typical of garage or workshop equipment produced by the firm during the mid-century period.
