Lot 317: An assortment of items to include an earthenware plate attributed to Royal Doulton, workshop tools, and technical literature
This lot features an earthenware circular plate with a multi-coloured transfer-printed scene attributed to the Royal Doulton Old Moreton Hall series, depicting Queen Elizabeth I at Little Moreton Hall with the inscription QUEEN ELIZABETH AT OLD MORETON 1589. Included is a ceramic novelty planter with a heavily textured brown bark-effect glaze, modelled as a hollowed-out log. The lot contains three volumes of The Complete Engineer published by Newnes, including Volume III (Production) and Volume IV (Operation and Maintenance), bound in green cloth with gilt titles. Workshop equipment includes a turquoise metal Bostitch tacker in a tan plastic case with several boxes of staples, a 12V cordless drill kit with charging base and bits, a silver-cased drill and bit set including a Bosch tape measure, and a blue plastic case containing SDS-plus masonry bits and chisels. A weathered orange metal toolbox contains assorted rusted sockets, ratchets, and automotive gaskets. Maintenance supplies include two tins of Liberon Black Bison Fine Paste Wax Polish and a wooden-handled polishing brush. Additional items comprise clear glass vases, a metal mesh cylinder, several CDs and DVDs, and a blue glass bowl with yellow and blue concentric circle motifs.
