Lot 525: An Assortment of Vintage Ceramic Tableware including Takito Company and Johnson Brothers
An assortment of vintage ceramic tableware comprising various sets and patterns. The collection includes a partial Japanese porcelain tea service by the Takito Company, featuring several cups and a lidded twin-handled sugar bowl decorated with gilded wheat ear and foliage motifs. These pieces bear a backstamp with a TC monogram within a laurel wreath above the text Nagoya Japan. Also present is a Johnson Brothers ironstone dinner plate from the Snowhite range, featuring a black printed backstamp with a crown and Made in England. The group includes porcelain cups and saucers in a classical style, decorated with dark green borders, gilded cherub figures, and foliate scrolls. Additionally, there is a large plate and a matching small creamer jug featuring a pattern of light blue and grey wheat-like stalks and small floral sprigs, resembling the Rhapsody pattern by Heirloom.
