Lot 574: Three Items Including a Pink Stone Ring, a Heart-Shaped Mount, and a Carved Handle Desk Seal
This collection comprises three items: a ring, a heart-shaped mount, and a desk seal. The ring is fashioned from silver-toned metal and set with a round cabochon-cut pale pink gemstone, appearing to be rose quartz, within a bezel setting. The heart-shaped mount, also in silver-toned metal, features an embossed central heart within a decorative, scalloped, and pierced border; the reverse is fitted with two small metal tabs, indicating its former use as a decorative mount or component. The desk seal features a carved cream-coloured handle, possibly bone or ivory, with a silver-toned decorative mount displaying cast scrollwork and a matrix at the base. While markings are visible on the ring band and seal mount, they are not sufficiently legible to confirm metal purity or maker.
