Lot 74: A Collection of Assorted Umbrellas including Multi-coloured and Bi-colour Stick Examples
A collection of assorted umbrellas of various designs and sizes. The lot includes several stick umbrellas with multi-coloured rainbow canopies featuring a high rib count, similar in style to the MoMA Color Wheel design. Other examples include bi-colour canopies in navy and red as well as yellow and blue combinations, plus a standard solid black umbrella. Also present is a smaller child’s umbrella featuring a patterned canopy with a pink plastic handle and blunt safety tip. The canopies are constructed from synthetic fabrics, likely polyester or nylon, and are fitted to metal shafts with silver-tone chrome-finish tips. One umbrella features a wooden crook-style handle. The items carry auction lot labels including one adhered to a red canopy panel. No manufacturer brand names are visible.
