Live auction will start in __ days and __ hours

Start price: £5

Estimated price: £5 - £8

Buyer's Premium:

Two rectangular stools of contrasting styles and finishes. The first stool is constructed from a light-stained hardwood, likely beech, featuring a woven rush seat. It is supported by four turned legs connected by simple rectangular-section stretchers. One leg bears a small auction sticker with the printed word Lot and the handwritten number 748, alongside rectangular white stickers with the handwritten number 79966. The second stool features a dark-stained frame with bobbin-turned or spool-turned legs and stretchers in a 17th-century revival style. The seat is composed of a green woven cord in a basketweave pattern. Both items are typical examples of British vernacular hearth or footstools.
