Lot 790: A mid-century two-tier console table
A mid-century modern two-tier console table, likely of British manufacture. The design features an asymmetrical, elongated top with one rounded end and one straight end, constructed from a light wood veneer, possibly oak, showing a prominent grain. The top is supported by two solid slab-style legs that taper slightly towards the floor, which in turn support a full-width lower shelf. The base and lower shelf are finished in a darker, contrasting stain. No maker marks or manufacturer labels are visible. The piece retains two paper auction labels, one bearing the number 790 and the other with handwritten lot and reserve information.
