Buyer's Premium:

An early 20th-century acoustic wind-up floor-standing cabinet gramophone in the Jacobean Revival style, attributed to Itonia. The dark-stained oak cabinet features a hinged top lid opening to reveal the turntable mechanism, alongside a two-door front cupboard designed to enclose the internal horn. The cabinet is raised on classic barley-twist legs joined by a shaped peripheral stretcher. The internal mechanical features include a nickel-plated or chromed tonearm and soundbox, a metal platter fitted with a worn brown felt mat, dual inset metal needle cups, a speed regulator arc incised with FAST, 78, and SLOW, and a manual brake lever incised with START and STOP. Accompanying the gramophone is a shellac 78rpm record on the turntable and a Capitol Records Frank Sinatra record sleeve housed in the side storage compartment. No manufacturer marks, plates, or transfers are visible on the cabinet or motor board.
