Lot 940: A Traditional Reproduction Mahogany Finished Media Cabinet with Glazed Door
A mahogany-finished low media cabinet or television stand designed in a traditional reproduction style. This one-piece unit features a central cupboard with a single glazed door, the glass being set within a shaped arched frame. The cupboard opens to reveal a single interior shelf. The central section is flanked by four open storage niches, with two positioned on either side. Decorative elements include carved rope-twist or cable moulding to the vertical front edges. The cabinet is constructed from mahogany-stained wood and is supported by a simple plinth base. It is fitted with a small metal pull-handle and internal hinges. No maker’s marks or labels were identified during inspection.
