Lot 952: Late Victorian or Edwardian Hardwood Single-Door Mirrored Wardrobe
A late Victorian or Edwardian single-door wardrobe, of British origin. The exterior is constructed from a medium-toned hardwood, featuring a central mirrored panel to the door. The wardrobe is decorated with pierced fretwork panels showcasing Gothic-inspired motifs at the upper and lower sections of the door. It is designed with a moulded cornice and a simple plinth base. The interior is lined with softwood back panels and fitted with several metal hanging hooks on the side panels. A simple metal pull handle and latch are present on the door. The wardrobe appears to be a single-piece unit.
