Lot 972: A Jacobean Revival style oak and leaded glass display cabinet
A stained oak display cabinet in the Jacobean Revival style. The upper section is topped with a carved frieze featuring a repeating foliate and geometric motif. Below are two glazed doors with leaded glass in a diamond lattice pattern, opening to an interior fitted with glass shelves and two gold-toned cylindrical electric light fixtures. The base comprises a bank of four drawers, each decorated with moulded rectangular panels and fitted with metal drop-ring handles. The unit features visible oak graining throughout. Small adhesive auction labels are present on the exterior. There are no visible maker’s marks or stamps.
