Lot 102: FCC Precision Brass Cased Clock and Aneroid Barometer Mounted on a Wooden Plinth
A combination wall or desk weather station by FCC Precision. The unit comprises a quartz clock and an aneroid barometer, each housed within circular brass-coloured bezels and mounted onto a rectangular dark-stained wooden plinth. The clock features a white dial with black Roman numeral hour markers, three black hands, and is marked FCC Precision Quartz. The barometer has a matching white dial with dual scales for atmospheric pressure in inches and millibars, alongside weather descriptors Stormy, Change, and Very Dry. It includes a black indicator hand, a brass-coloured reference hand, and a central aperture revealing the internal mechanism. A blank brass presentation plaque is positioned centrally between the two instruments. The reverse features a serrated metal hanger and provides circular apertures for access to the battery compartment and barometer adjustment.
