Lot 107: A Small English Hand-Painted Earthenware Jug, Attributed to Denby
A small earthenware jug featuring a bulbous body, a slightly flared rim, and a naturalistic branch-form handle. The exterior is decorated with hand-painted foliate scrollwork in shades of olive green and ochre over a pale yellow-washed ground. The design is framed by horizontal bands in teal and brown at the rim and base. The underside of the base bears a black printed stamp reading MADE IN ENGLAND, along with hand-painted decorator marks in green slip and a small red paint stroke.
