Lot 15: Two Early 20th Century British Silver Watch Fobs
Two silver pocket watch fobs, common as award medals or decorative accessories during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The first fob features an ornate scrolling foliate border with acanthus leaf motifs surrounding a central raised dome. The second fob is designed with a laurel wreath border topped by a crown, with a central shield applied to the front. This shield is engraved with the characters W.D. above T.S. The second fob bears British hallmarks, including the lion passant, identifying it as sterling silver. Both fobs are equipped with suspension rings. The items are presented in a modern, non-associated wooden jewellery box from the retailer Vage Truro.
