Lot 25: A Trio of Studio Art Glass Paperweights
A trio of decorative studio art glass paperweights comprising one spherical example and two egg-shaped examples. The spherical paperweight features a dense mottled interior of vibrant green and white glass frit or spatter, encased within a thick clear glass body. The two egg-shaped paperweights each contain a central ribbon-twist spiral of coloured and white threads in the latticino style, one in cobalt blue and the other in emerald green, both encased in clear glass and terminating in a tight twist at the apex. These items are examples of mid-to-late 20th-century blown glass. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on any of the pieces.
