A collection of ten vintage costume jewellery brooches in various motifs including floral, faunal, and figurative designs. The lot comprises a large gold-tone insect brooch with a polished domed body and scroll-patterned engraving on the wings; a novelty penguin brooch with black and white enamel, a purple enamelled scarf, and a lower body area pave-set with lilac-coloured rhinestones; a large floral spray brooch with three greyish-blue faceted oval glass petals and clusters of aurora borealis and clear rhinestones; a silver-tone openwork rose bloom brooch pave-set with clear circular chaton rhinestones; an oval shell cameo brooch depicting a female profile in a gold-tone scalloped frame; a gold-tone wire and mesh butterfly brooch; a curved gold-tone metal feather brooch with textured detailing; a silver-tone starburst brooch set with yellow-green rhinestones; a silver-tone stylized floral fan brooch pave-set with marcasite-style stones; and a gold-tone stylized leaf spray brooch. Materials include gold and silver-tone base metals, enamel, glass rhinestones, and carved shell. No maker’s marks or hallmarks are visible. All items feature pin fastenings to the reverse.
