Lot 14: A Vintage Stationary Engine with Integrated Centrifugal Pump Attributed to International Harvester
A vintage stationary internal combustion engine with an integrated centrifugal water pump, mounted on a heavy, red-painted metal base plate. This unit is attributed to International Harvester, sharing the distinct profile and configuration of the Model LB series. The engine consists of an air-cooled single-cylinder block with visible cooling fins, a carburettor, and a spark plug with an attached ignition lead. A cylindrical fuel tank is mounted horizontally above the engine block, secured by two metal straps. The exhaust is fitted with a rusted cylindrical muffler. The engine is directly coupled to a cast iron centrifugal pump assembly on the output shaft. The entire unit is finished in a weathered red paint. A white rectangular sticker with the handwritten number 13 in blue ink is present on the fuel tank, and a lot sticker marked 014 is affixed to the fuel cap. No manufacturer nameplates or serial numbers are clearly legible in the provided images.
