Lot 199: A Trio of Cast Aluminium Garden Furniture comprising a Table and a Pair of Armchairs
A three-piece cast aluminium garden bistro set designed in the Victorian revival style. The set includes a circular table with a heavily pierced decorative top featuring a central aperture for a parasol, supported by a tripod base. The two matching armchairs feature ornate fleur-de-lis and foliate scrollwork to the backrests and seats, with swept armrests and cabriole-style legs. The pieces are of cast aluminium construction, identifiable by the greyish-white oxidation visible where the paint has flaked. No manufacturer’s marks or foundry stamps are visible on the frames.
