Lot 333: A Collection of Myott Staffordshire Floral Pattern Earthenware Teacups and Saucers
This collection of English ceramic tableware, manufactured by Myott in Staffordshire, consists of a group of teacups and matching saucers. The pieces are constructed from cream-coloured earthenware and feature a transfer-printed floral decoration depicting sprays of vibrant orange and yellow flowers with grey and black foliage. The saucers are designed with a scalloped edge, finished with a thin dark line along the rim. The underside of the saucers bears a printed backstamp featuring a shield device with a diagonal yellow band and two crowns, flanked by the text MYOTT and STAFFORDSHIRE ENGLAND. The mark MADE IN ENGLAND is also present in a faded brown tone.
