Lot 335: Two pieces of vintage enamelled cast iron cookware in a graduated orange colourway
Two pieces of vintage enamelled cast iron cookware finished in a gradated orange-to-red colourway with cream-toned interiors. The lot consists of an oval lidded casserole dish with twin side handles and a matching lid with a loop handle, alongside a shallow oval au gratin roasting dish. The form and colour application are characteristic of items attributed to the Belgian manufacturer Descoware. Indiscernible markings are present on the exterior side of the casserole dish, though they are worn and illegible. The au gratin dish retains an auction label marked Lot 335.
