This is a Bush TR130 portable transistor radio, a prominent example of mid-1960s British consumer electronics. The radio is housed in a case finished in tan textured leatherette Rexine with chrome-plated plastic trim and a perforated metal speaker grille. It features a vertical linear tuning dial covering three wavebands: Long Wave (LW), Medium Wave (MW), and a Bandspread (BS) section specifically highlighting stations including Radio Luxembourg and the pirate station Radio Caroline. The top of the unit includes three cream-coloured push-button selectors for the wavebands. Side-mounted controls consist of two thumbwheels for Volume/Off-On and Tone, plus a larger tuning thumbwheel. A matching brown stitched carrying handle is attached to the top. The manufacturer name BUSH and model designation TR130 are inscribed on the front chrome-effect bezel.
