Lot 487: A Trio of Royal Copenhagen Porcelain Miniature Floral Dishes
A collection of three circular miniature porcelain dishes produced by Royal Copenhagen, Denmark. Each piece is crafted from fine white porcelain and decorated with underglaze hand-painted botanical motifs. The designs feature a shaded blue ground that transitions from a deeper hue at the rim to a lighter tone towards the centre. Two of the dishes are decorated with an edelweiss flower, while the third features a wild rose. The reverse of the dishes carries the green Royal Copenhagen factory stamp consisting of a crown surrounded by the words ROYAL COPENHAGEN DENMARK. Below this are three hand-painted wavy blue lines, the green painted shape number 3612, and the blue painted decorator’s initials RY. One dish also retains a small rectangular paper label featuring the factory logo.
