Lot 564: A Set of Four Clear Glass Elephant Figurines with Gilt Accents
A set of four decorative miniature elephant figurines, crafted from clear glass using lampworking or glass blowing techniques. Each figurine features hand-painted gold-toned gilt accents highlighting specific anatomical details. The collection includes a larger elephant with a raised trunk, a medium-sized elephant with a curled trunk, and two smaller miniatures in varied poses. The gilt decoration is applied to the ears, trunk tips, tusks, feet, and tails. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible on any of the pieces. Lengths ranging approximately 20mm to 60mm.
