An assortment of literary volumes, poetry, and fiction, predominantly from the mid-20th century. Notable inclusions are two titles by Dylan Thomas, Quite Early One Morning and A Prospect of the Sea, published by J. M. Dent and Sons Ltd. Arthur Ransome is represented by Winter Holiday and Secret Water, published by Jonathan Cape. Other significant works include Alfred Lord Tennyson’s Idylls of the King (Macmillan and Co.), 30 Poems by Robert Browning (Macmillan), and Alan Moorehead’s Cooper’s Creek (World Books). The collection also contains several trade paperback editions from Penguin Books, including James Joyce’s Dubliners, Saul Bellow’s Humboldt’s Gift, and Raymond Chandler’s The High Window.
