Lot 594: A Group of Japanese Porcelain Items including a Geisha Figurine and Stippled Ground Bowls
A collection of Japanese decorative porcelain comprising a standing figurine and several small bowls. The figurine depicts a geisha in traditional dress, her kimono decorated with polychrome floral sprays in pink, orange, and blue enamels, finished with a blue collar and sash. The bowls include examples with a red stippled ground and a green stippled ground, each accented with white dots and gilded borders. All pieces are crafted from white glazed porcelain with overglaze enamel decoration. There are no visible maker marks. The items are accompanied by an HCP Auctions South West tag for Lot 594 and a handwritten adhesive label numbered 6540.
