Lot 625: A Trio of Vintage Cameras comprising a Zenit-B SLR with Pentacon Lens and two Kodak Brownie Cameras
This lot consists of three vintage cameras and two associated leather cases. The first item is a Zenit-B 35mm SLR camera, a mechanical model of Soviet manufacture. It is constructed with a metal body featuring a silver-tone top plate and a black textured grip. The camera is fitted with a Pentacon 135mm f/2.8 lens, which bears the markings PENTACON, 2.8/135, and MULTI COATING. The lens barrel features a manual aperture ring with a range of f/2.8 to f/22 and a focus scale marked in both feet and metres. It is housed in a brown leather ever-ready style carrying case. The second item is a Kodak Brownie 127 roll film camera. The body is made of black moulded plastic with a cream-coloured vertically ribbed faceplate. It features yellow plastic controls, including the winding knob and shutter button. The faceplate is inscribed BROWNIE 127 CAMERA. The third item is a Kodak Six-20 Brownie E box camera, designed for 620 roll film. The body is of metal box construction with a black textured covering and a decorative metal front plate in the Art Deco style. It is equipped with two built-in brilliant viewfinders for portrait and landscape compositions. Markings on the front plate include SIX-20 ‘BROWNIE’ E and MADE BY KODAK. This camera is accompanied by a brown leather carrying case.
