Lot 691: A Late 20th Century Floral Upholstered Wingback Armchair
A traditional wingback armchair featuring a fully upholstered frame with integrated rounded wings and scrolled arms. The chair is raised on four turned hardwood feet with a dark-stained finish. The upholstery is a tapestry-style woven fabric featuring a repeating floral and foliate pattern in a muted palette of dusky pink, sage green, and ochre on a cream-coloured textured ground. The edges of the arms are finished with a decorative braided gimp trim. No maker’s marks or manufacturer labels are visible on the exterior surfaces.
