Lot 758: A Ferguson Unit Audio FM Stereo Record Player and Matching Pair of Speakers
A vintage Ferguson Unit Audio stereo system comprising a combined turntable and FM radio receiver unit and a pair of matching bookshelf speakers. The main unit and speaker cabinets are finished in a teak-effect wood veneer. The turntable features a black BSR deck, marked Crafted in Great Britain by BSR on the central platter. It is equipped with an automatic record changer mechanism with selectable speeds for 33, 45, and 78 RPM. The radio receiver section includes a horizontal analog tuning dial for FM stereo. The front control panel features silver-toned knobs for tuning, volume, balance, treble, and bass, and is marked Ferguson Unit Audio and FM Stereo. The two matching speakers feature black woven fabric grilles. The unit is fitted with a hinged clear plastic dust cover.
