Lot 764: Victorian Mahogany Campaign Chest Top Section
A Victorian mahogany campaign chest, comprising the upper section of a two-part stacking military chest. The piece is configured with two short drawers over one full-width long drawer. Constructed from mahogany with secondary timbers including mahogany and pine used for the drawer interiors. Featuring recessed flush-fitting brass drawer handles and brass corner straps. The drawer carcasses are assembled with hand-cut dovetail joints. A single key is included for the top right drawer.
