Lot 800: A Set of Four Mahogany Pierced Vase Back Georgian Dining Chairs
A matching set of four mahogany dining chairs. Each chair features a shield-shaped back with a pierced splat decorated with central scrolling and urn-like motifs. The construction consists of square, tapered front legs and slightly splayed rear legs, all connected by an H-stretcher. The padded drop-in seats are covered in a cream and pale gold floral damask fabric. The frames utilise traditional mortise and tenon joinery. Temporary auction labels are visible on the wood frames.
