Lot 810: A Primitive Rustic Three-Legged Hardwood Cutler's Stool
A primitive vernacular three-legged cutler’s stool of rustic construction. The item features a thick, hand-hewn rectangular single-slab hardwood seat with rounded corners, supported by three splayed cylindrical legs. The legs are fixed using a through-tenon construction method, with the tops of the legs visible and flush with the seat surface. The wood appears to be a dense hardwood, such as elm or oak, showing a naturally weathered and aged patina.
