Lot 812: A Collection of Antiques and Sundries including a Smiths Mantel Clock and an Aneroid Barometer
A collection of assorted antiques and household items. The lot includes a mantel clock in a dark wood case, the dial featuring black Arabic numerals and two winding holes, marked SMITHS and MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN. Also present is an aneroid barometer housed in a dark wood frame with a dial marked for RAIN, CHANGE, and FAIR. The group further comprises a rectangular silver-plated tray with an engine-turned pattern and a central oval cartouche, and a dark wood box with a scalloped edge. Ceramic items include a blue and white transferware plate depicting a castle landscape, a matching tureen lid, and a decorative bowl with a green and gold floral band. The lot is completed by a purple plastic storage basket and a wooden spool wound with twine.
