Lot 870: A Contemporary Metal Folding Guest Bed with Mattress
A contemporary folding guest bed featuring a black painted tubular metal frame designed for space-saving storage. The bed utilizes a sprung-slat support system consisting of laminated wooden slats secured to the frame with tan-coloured plastic end caps. The unit is fitted with at least one caster for mobility when in the folded position. It is accompanied by a single-size foam mattress featuring a blue-on-blue mottled pattern and piped edges. A small white adhesive label is affixed to one of the wooden slats with handwritten characters, possibly reading 1942 or 2461 depending on orientation. No manufacturer labels or fire safety tags are visible.
