Lot 896: A Group of Furniture and Household Items Including a Nichols and Stone Windsor Rocking Chair
A group of furniture and household items featuring a mid-century maple Windsor-style rocking chair by Nichols and Stone. The chair is constructed with a high spindled back, a shaped top rail, and scroll arms on turned supports, featuring a contoured solid seat and turned legs and stretchers, all finished in a light honey-coloured stain. The lot further includes a rectangular occasional table with a stained wood top and turned legs, and a circular wooden umbrella stand with turned spindles and a recessed base with a dark drip tray. Completing the assortment is a woven wicker basket containing several wooden slats and a two-tone plastic storage case with a black handle.
