Lot 916: Mid-century modern steam-bent wooden armchair
A mid-century modern armchair featuring a light-toned wooden frame, constructed from beech with a teak-effect stain. The design is defined by its distinctive continuous steam-bent arms that form a sweeping curve from the front legs up to the backrest supports. The chair is fitted with separate, inset seat and backrest pads, both upholstered in a contemporary, textured charcoal-grey woven fabric. The assembly utilizes visible bolt and screw-and-plug joinery to the side rails.
