Lot 934: A Pair of Framed Calvin and Hobbes Comic Strip Collections
A pair of matching black stained wooden frames housing a collection of monochrome Calvin and Hobbes daily comic strips by Bill Watterson. The top frame contains ten individual comic strips arranged in two rows of five. The bottom frame contains twelve individual comic strips arranged in two rows of six. Each strip is presented within a multi-aperture cream-coloured mount. The strips feature various scenes and characters including Calvin, Hobbes, and Calvin’s parents. Every comic strip bears a printed signature at the end of the final panel reading WATTERSON. A white adhesive auction label for HCP Auctions South West Lot 934 is attached to the glass of the lower frame.
