Lot 1005: Mid-Century Teak Coffee Table with Decorative Border and Slatted Magazine Rack
A mid-century modern rectangular coffee table featuring a teak veneered tabletop on a solid teak-toned hardwood frame. The top surface is detailed with a dark-stained, scrolled foliate decorative border running along all four edges. The table is supported by four square-section legs and features an integral slatted undershelf designed for use as a magazine rack. This piece is characteristic of British furniture design from the 1960s and 1970s. A white auction lot sticker numbered 1005 is affixed to the top surface, and a small label numbered 853 is attached to the undershelf.
