Lot 1009: An Arts and Crafts Oak Morris Chair
An Arts and Crafts style armchair, known as a Morris chair, constructed from oak with a dark reddish-brown stain. The piece features wide, flat armrests with rounded ends, slatted side panels, and a slatted back. It is equipped with two detachable cushions upholstered in a green and cream floral damask fabric with foliate motifs and a geometric border. There are two adhesive labels present, one on the armrest marked 1009 and one on the rear frame marked 884. No manufacturer marks are visible.
