Lot 1027: Mid-Century Modern Oak Veneered Sideboard Display Cabinet
A mid-century modern oak-veneered display cabinet and sideboard of British manufacture, circa 1960s or 1970s. This single-piece unit is designed with a two-tier configuration divided into six compartments. The upper tier is intended for display and features a track for sliding glass doors. The lower tier consists of a single hinged cupboard door to the left, which is fitted with a circular metal escutcheon and a functional locking mechanism. The remaining two compartments on the lower tier provide open shelving storage. The cabinet is finished in a light oak veneer with a visible grain and is elevated on four splayed, tapered black-painted metal legs.
